Forming of the Fellowship

So we had our first meeting on 19 November 2007 (Monday). Many of us came earlier than the scheduled 1.30 pm as we were told that it was brought forward to 1 pm. However, it was an over-cue and some of us had to skip lunch as a result. Luckily, Serene came to our rescue and provided us with mineral water (but no food leh). Maybe in future HQ can consider catering refreshments for us!

Those who were lucky received their air tickets and visa. So we will be flying Qantas Airlines. Find out more about our plane Airbus 330-300 @

Okay, so we had the personality profiling - D, I, S, C whatever they mean. Apparently no one was "D" (dominant). Oops, does this mean that no one will be leading us in our 7 days in the wilds?

Then we had an ice-breaker session with the Aussie co-ordinators and most of us seemed pretty apprehensive about the trip especially when we were not allowed to know the programme details. Wei Kiin suggested designing a T-shirt and then ideas started coming in. Zac suggested a sweater and those who were still around agreed and Edmund kindly volunteered to design a logo for the sweater.

Initially I had difficulty figuring out what the "O" represents ... ... later then I realised that it was the outline of Western Australia and the dot is our destination - MARGARET RIVER where we are going to brave through untold dangers.
